We are hiring for a Peer Support Specialist who will be hired to go into the BIPOC faith based community to interact, spread word and fellowship.

Requirements:

- One or more years on a chosen recovery path from a substance use disorder and/or mental health diagnosis.

-Certified peer support specialist

-GED / High school diploma

-Reliable transportation

Love and Respect Community for Recovery and Wellness is a nonprofit organization with a peer-run drop-in center. We meet individuals where they are and accept them with open arms.

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 per hour

Benefits: Mental Health Days, earned PTO, and professional development assistance

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday

No nights

Ability to commute/relocate:

Hendersonville, NC 28739: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

North Carolina Peer Support Certification (Required)

Language: Spanish (Preferred)
