WNC STRONG

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, our community faced devastation. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, we sprung into action.

Collaboration. Connectivity to care. Familiar faces in a dark time.

Hot meals

In collaboration with World Central Kitchen and Caja Solidaria of Hendersonville, we were able to distribute over 4,300 hot meals to the community.

Wellness Checks

We offered basic first aid and wellness checks every week. As emergency services were more requested than ever and wait times were up to 10 hours, we sprung into action with RN’s and our basic first aid certified staff to provide FREE basic wound care, first aid, blood pressure checks, and blood glucose checks

Supply Distribution

Our team immediately began to distribute supplies to the community and ensure that no community member was scrambling for basic essentials. 10,370 hurricane relief items were  distributed. Supply distribution is STILL occurring to take some weight off of the communities’ shoulders.

Thank you to our generous donors for making these efforts possible.
